Customer Service Officer

Job Description

• Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries professionally, serving as the first point of contact for families and guiding enquiries towards confirmed appointments
• Support coordination between clients and funeral directors to ensure smooth communication
• Deliver consistent service standards and support the team in maintaining service excellence across all client touchpoints
• Perform basic administrative duties and other ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements

• Is empathetic, calm, and respectful with clients
• Communicates clearly and is comfortable in client-facing roles
• Is organised, reliable, and follows through on tasks
• Has basic proficiency in Word and Excel
• Has customer service or call centre experience (preferred)
• Is eager to learn and grow in a service-oriented role
• Can converse in English, Chinese, and dialects

Operations Crew

Job Overview

Guide and assist family members throughout the duration of the wake and funeral.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Offer counsel and comfort to bereaved families
• Collection and transportation of the deceased
• Provide assistance to family members during rites, rituals and funeral processions
• Present the eulogy to family members on funeral day
• Transport flowers, backdrop and other logistics required for the set up of wakes
• Maintain cleanliness of Company’s vehicles, equipment and facilities
• Implement operations for service excellence
• Project a positive and professional image
• Solve problems and make decisions at operations level
• Other operational tasks as required

Requirements

• Hold a Class 3 or 4 driving license
• Use essential features of a computer

Logistics Crew

Job Overview

Assist in the setup and tear down of wake locations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Guide and assist family members throughout the duration of the wake and funeral

• Maintain warehouse environment and keep stock of logistics items
• Maintain cleanliness of Company’s vehicles, equipment and facilities
• Collection and transportation of the deceased
• Project a positive and professional image
• Solve problems and make decisions at operations level
• Other operational tasks as required

Requirements

• Minimum of a Class 3 driving license, Class 4 driving license preferred
• Use essential features of a computer

• Understand the requirements of the client and offer the most suitable embalming services
• Understand and carry out the wishes of the client with excellence
• Gather, review and act on client’s feedback on embalming services
• Keep stock of all embalming chemicals, tools and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of Company’s vehicles, equipment and facilities
• Implement operations for service excellence
• Project a positive and professional image
• Solve problems and make decisions at operations level
• Other operational tasks as required

Requirements

• Hold an embalming certification from a recognised embalming school
• Class 3 driving license preferred
• Use essential features of a computer
