Exhumation & Remains Relocation
If your loved one requires a relocation, we are just a call away to provide you with reliable and professional exhumation services. Depending on your religion, a prayer ceremony will be conducted by a monk, priest, or pastor before we extract your loved one’s remains from the tomb.
You may choose to cremate the exhumed remains locally or have them exported overseas. If you decide to go with the former, a second round of prayer ceremony will be conducted before the ashes are placed into an urn and moved to either a temple, monastery, or columbarium.
In the case of remains exportation, each bone is meticulously washed in rice wine and water to remove as much debris as possible. The remains are then reassembled in your casket of choice before being sealed and certified by the National Environment Agency.
An Ling (安灵) Services
According to Buddhist and Taoist beliefs, An Ling is an act of filial piety by the deceased’s descendants. Descendants will have to prepare the following items in their home for the next 49 days following the funeral:
- A table to place the tablet
- Photo of the deceased
- Joss pot
- Food and drink offerings
Food, drinks, and joss sticks should be offered daily till the end of the 49 days.
Apart from monk/priest services, we are also able to help you with the An Ling prayer date calculation, so you won’t miss this significant ritual.
Ji Ling (寄灵) Services
Ji Ling holds the same meaning as An Ling. The only difference is that the tablet, photo, and other prayer items are placed in a temple or columbarium instead of your home. The monks, priests, or caretakers will assist with the daily offerings and chantings till the end of the 49 days.
